Wicking beds water plants from below rather than above. Moisture is

drawn up through the soil, allowing an even distribution. They are water efficient in

that the watering is from the bottom up, preventing evaporation of surface water. This

workshop is a beginners class that will show participants how to set up a wicking bed.
