The need for good mental health is what lead to the creation of Seed. We promote Mental Health Month in October by providing a range or free or low cost activities that support good mental health and wellbeing.

See below for what is happening this year!

  • A monthly gardening day is held on the first Saturday of every month. Join this group if you want to learn more about our gardening techniques or if you want to contribute by volunteering at the garden. Seasonal garden tasks are completed at these events.

Starting at 9.30am and finishing at 11.30, just in time for cake and a cuppa.

  • At the workshop we’ll be discussing:

Selecting best varieties, Propagation techniques, Companion planting, Growing tips, Fertilisers, Composting, Pest and Disease control and there will be a Q &A.

Participants can pot up tomato seedlings and take some home.

  • Is the stress of daily life getting you down?
Need to disconnect from your screen and plug into nature?
Want to clear your mind but struggle with regular meditation?
The medicine of the forest is waiting!
